The countdown is on and I am very excited. Well, excited but also extremely busy getting everything ready for the shop/gallery.
Last year I walked in to the Anna Smithson Pop Up Shop, upstairs in Cabot Circus Bristol and it took my breath away. For some reason I was feeling brave that day and I asked Anna if she fancied taking a look at my stuff with a view of being involved in recent shops/galleries.
I didn’t hear back for a while and kind of just took it for granted that she wasn’t interested (as you do!).
Anyway I did hear back and she was interested and here I am 2 weeks until date of delivery!!
I am not going to show you my new prints as I want you to see them looking their best in their swanky frames along side everything else. But I will show you two new Christmas cards!!
I will let you know the exact opening date and time very very soon and please come down and take a look. If you don’t live in Bristol, come anyway. Cabot Circus is fab and obviously will be even more fab this November!!
As there are only 3 days to do before the big launch I thought I would let you know a cool new website I will selling my designs on.
A website where you can buy cards that are beautifully designed, handwritten and sent out for you or sent to you ready in a stamped envelope, for you to sign and pop in the post yourself.
Just to let you know that I now have cards for sale in a beautiful new shop in Bristol. It’s called 7th Sea and is well worth a look. My lovely friend Emma makes wonderful jewellry (which I must stop buying!) and it’s full of other fab homemade stuff!
7th Sea, Cheltenham Road, Bristol.
James Ellis has a new website. It’s fab and it’s selling some of my cards. They have also used my union jack to create wedding stationery. You must must must check it out.
I have delivered 80 cards to Reason Interiors, a beautiful shop on The Gloucester Road, Bristol. It’s full of really lovely things and hopefully my cards will sell well!
Here are the cards that are in there. They are on sale for £2.50.
You can also order these cards (5 or more) by contacting me at firstname.lastname@example.org
In a few days time this Mother’s Day Card will go on sale on notonthehighstreet.com. I am only getting 10 printed to make that Mummy feel just a little bit even more special than they already are! (Actually, I therefore better hold on to one for my own Mother or there will be trouble!). If you are reading this Mum, I love you!
They are going on sale for £3.00 with free delivery, but order by emailing me at email@example.com and you can have one for £2.50 with free delivery!!!
Most cards in the shops are at least £3.00 for a nice one and this design was lovingly crafted for hours!
Hope to hear from you soon.
Card size – 105x155mm
Please get in touch for bespoke and personalised designs.
Here are the designs all ready to hit the shops on 2012. They are published by James Ellis
Here is a valentines print/card which can be personlised with any words of your choice.
Hi all. It being valentines day very soon I would like to encourage anyone out there to ask me to make their loved one a card or a lovely print. You can have a completely unique one or one you have already seen and liked! As you can see I quite like ‘love’ and ‘hearts’!
I am also showing you a little look at what I have been designing in the past few days and weeks. None of it is quite finished yet but very nearly. See what you think.
I am also wondering about setting up another website as an online shop. What do you reckon? My lovely friend Zoe did make a very good point, in that it’s all very well having work on notonthehighstreet but do men really look at it and does everyone know you can buy prints on there? Anyway all just ideas in the pipe line. All feedback is very much welcome.
Am just about to send off some artwork to go on mugs too so will show you those as soon as I get them. Back.
All three hearts are seperate prints (though not finished) and can be personalised with a city of your choice.
London, Paris and New York Print
